In a recent study, Google Assistant received 4.5 Lakhs marriage proposals from Indians in April last year. Seems like, singlehood is really freaking out Indians these days!

It also certainly seems like Indians love their Google Assistant and made a big display of this love by asking its consent into marriage. Definitely, this is not the most regular of questions to ask.

Maybe Indians are simply way too bored that they spend time chatting with voice assistants like Echo, Siri, and Google Assistant. Google Assistant, on the other hand, has the edgiest retorts up its sleeve to keep the conversation alive and entertaining.

To understand this more, Google recently joined the ‘Really Really’ meme trend on Twitter and asked its Indian users why they are so keen to marry Google. In a tweet, Google wrote “We really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really want to know why you keep asking the Google Assistant to marry you”

This hilarious tweet has been retweeted over 6.5k times and has garnered even more hilarious responses.

Here are some replies to the tweet!

.@GoogleIndia I just asked my Google Home in a low voice
"Will you marry me?"

And "she" replied, "I am already in a commited relationship as your assistant"

My wife seems to have overheard part of this conversation from another room and I think I am now in big trouble !! pic.twitter.com/KXEbwr74Sq
