What were you doing when you were three? Think over it before you begin reading this piece.

Muhammad Haryz Nadzim is otherwise a regular three-year-old. According to his mother, he loves painting, singing, reading, and playing with Legos and Play-Doh.

But there is something very special about this child.

Nadzim was recently invited to join Mensa UK, the largest and the oldest high IQ society in the world, after meeting with a psychologist and scoring a massive 142 on the Stanford-Binet IQ Test. This score placed him in the 99.7th percentile of all test takers.-

According to the official website, Mensa members are generally among the top two per cent of the population.

Remarkably, most adults score an average of 100 on the Stanford-Binet test, which is an evaluation of an individual’s intelligence quotient and cognitive ability.

While the supervised Mensa IQ test is designed for children and people over the age of ten and a half years, the process is different for those that are below that age. Children below ten and a half are assessed by an educational psychologist to ascertain their score.

Nadzim is from Malaysia but lives in the United Kingdom; his mother, Nur Anira Asyikin Hashim, is an engineer living in Durham, England. She admits that Nadzim was a prodigy: he began speaking his first words at the age of 7 months and by the time he turned two, he was reading bedtime stories.

“We had a feeling he was intelligent but we didn’t really consider how much, because we live with him every day, and he behaves like a normal little boy a lot of the time,” she said to the ChronicleLive.

Isn’t this amazing? We wish this child prodigy the best for the future!
