‘Remembering Wildlife’, the charity picture book series, has recently announced the ten winners of its cheetah photography competition.

The winning photographs will appear in its forthcoming book, ‘Remembering Cheetahs,’ which is due to be published in October this year and will be a tribute to the endangered cats. The book will also feature awe-inspiring photographs from many eminent wildlife photographers including Greg du Toit, Marsel van Oosten, Frans Lanting, and Art Wolfe.

Remembering Cheetahs is the fifth book in a series of books published by Remembering Wildlife. The first four are Remembering Great Apes, Remembering Elephants, Remembering Rhinos, and Remembering Lions.

Today, there are just over 7,000 of these cats in the world and by means of the book, Remembering Wildlife aims to spread awareness about the threats to cheetahs and raise funds to protect these magnificent species.

The winners of the competition were picked from a whopping 2,400 photographs that were submitted by photographers from across the world. Also, the profits raised from the initiative will be donated to cheetah conservation projects.

And the winning photographs are absolutely breathtaking! Have a look at a few of them yourself.
